After a successfull year with the Velox 1/8th scale racing car winning an European Championship in its debut season, it is a pleasure for us to announce that we will also enter the 1/10th scale touring car market. In cooperation with the current World Champion Daniele Ielasi we want to introduce the most innovative 1/10th scale touring car ever seen. The V10 will be completely different from other cars on the market. Beside many other new features we can already reveal that the Direct V-brake System will also be included.

Swiss Champion switches to Shepherd
We are very happy to announce that we could sign Marco Müller for the season 2009. The current Swiss 1/8th Scale On-Road Champion will use the Velox at National races as well as at the World Championship next year in Lostallo, Switzerland. We really appreciate the fact that Marco is confident to achieve a good result with a new car at this important event.

We have released another new optional part for the Velox. This special carbon transponder mount can be mounted at the very bottom of the car underneath the front one-way axle for the lowest possible center of gravity. There is no better place for a personal transponder that is already used by many drivers no matter if they race the World Championship or a local club race. Alternatively it can be used to add some weight to the car. All Velox chassis are already prepared to fix this nice and innovativ optional part.

Packed with innovative and high performance features, the most noticeable of which is the all-new Velox ‘Direct-V-Brake System’ (DVB-System), a system that provides durable and powerful braking through the use of rear axle mounted brake disks and a cable activated braking system. Upon applying the brake on your transmitter, the cable pulls two rear levers that clamp the brake pads against the twin, long life, ventilated disks providing strong and consistent braking performance every time. At the front of the Velox is the car’s steering servo saver that sports a quick one-step easily adjustable Ackerman setting. Using one screw, the user can loosen, easily adjust the setting and re-tighten the front part of the servo saver, enabling quick Ackerman adjustments even while on the track.

Shepherd Velox
Having already proved successful on both the European and International racing scene, including winning the 2007 German National Championships, and after a year long development period which saw the German company fine tune the car in preparation for its public release, the Velox is finally on sale.
